iProcess
I have been exploring the use of my phone as a tool of resistance during times of illness and fatigue. Open source collage programs and common apps such as Snapchat and Instagram become a part of my process when I am unable to make 'traditional' work in the studio. I am able to continue to document, collage and curate my work from my phone. On the heels of the Net Art movement, this work talks about how digital art can circumvent the contemporary art industry in its shortcomings and lack of space for those who are chronically ill or disabled.
